Beta2: Update

Il lavoro sulla Beta2, concentrato sui test e sulla introduzione di un paio di miglioramenti, e' momentaneamente sospeso a causa di problemi indipendenti dallo sviluppo del programma.

The work on the Beta2 version, focused on tests and on the introduction of some improvements, is temporarily suspended due to problems independent from the development of the software.

After the summer the development of the beta1.1 version of 23M/SIMTRAM was resumed: beta1.1 includes all fixing and modifications generated by the first tests. The release of the new version will be announced on the website and on this blog.

23M/SIMTRAM su OpenGL.org

L'annuncio dell'inizio della fase di test del simulatore di tram 23M/SIMTRAM e' stato riportato anche su OpenGL.org, sito ufficiale del consorzio per lo svilppo della celebre libreria di grafica 3D. 23MSIM/TRAM utilizza infatti OpenGL per la grafica 3D in real-time nella simulazione.

The kick-off of the beta testing phase for the 23MSIM/TRAM trolley simulator has been announced on OpenGL.org, the official website of the consortium for the development of the popular 3D graphics library. 23M/SIMTRAM in fact uses OpenGL for all the 3D real-time graphics of the simulation.

23M/SIMTRAM Beta1

La versione Beta1 del programma, destinata ai test, e' pronta.
Questa versione e’ il frutto di diversi mesi di sviluppo ma e’ anche la prima release del programma ad essere testata esternamente: lo scopo e’ quello di evidenziare bug o difetti prima possibile.

The Beta1 test version is now ready
This version is the result of several development months and will be the first version of the program to be tested externally: the goal is to highlight asap bugs and weak points.

Il ritorno del "Socimino" - The "Socimino" is back

Il SOCIMI 5001 torna a circolare: grazie alla simulazione, questo innovativo veicolo monocassa a pianale ribassato degli anni '80 potra' essere presto apprezzato e guidato sui binari di 23M/SIMTRAM.
Il modello e' in corso di sviluppo e sara' probabilmente incluso tra i veicoli disponibili per la prima versione.

The SOCIMI 5001 is back: thanks to simulation, this innovative single-body low-floor tram from the 80's will be appreciated and even driven on the virtual tracks of the 23M/SIMTRAM. The model is currently under development and will be probably part of the set of vehicles available for the first program release.
